πŸŽ—οΈ This Blog is a space for honest conversations about my personal experiences with MS, mental health, and the weird paranormal, liminal, and everything in between. I’m not a doctor, therapist, or expert in the unexplained; I’m just someone sharing my story and offering solidarity. Welcome back to My Living Hell, where the brain fog is thick, the confusion is legendary, and apparently even the technology has decided to join in.

Yes, folks, it's Podcast 7, and what a bloody shambles this one is!

In this episode, I ramble my way through life with multiple sclerosis (MS), chronic illness, sleep deprivation, and a level of brain fog that makes a scrambled egg look like a highly organised management consultant.

Do I know where I'm going with this podcast? Not a bloody clue!

Do I remember what I was talking about five minutes ago? There's a fair chance I don't.

And does the technology behave itself? Of course not. That would be far too bloody convenient.

What's in Podcast 7?

This time around, I talk about living with multiple sclerosis, chronic illness, the daily confusion that comes with severe brain fog, and life in general when your own brain appears to have handed in its resignation.

We also get into a few technical problems, a ramble about Rusty 1, the van, and the ongoing saga of a vehicle that's been off the road for four months. Four bloody months! At this rate, the van will qualify for retirement before I do.

Then there's Albertine's finger vanishing into the general confusion of proceedings. Don't ask me to explain everything. Half the time, I'm still trying to work out what on earth I was talking about in the first place!

There's also a look at my life in general, the problems caused by nights without proper sleep, and the joys of trying to make sense of the world when your brain seems to be operating on a diet of fog, confusion and the occasional misplaced thought.

Is This Podcast a Complete Failure?

Possibly.

Should it have been edited? Probably.

Would a professional studio, a decent night's sleep and a functioning brain have helped? Almost certainly.

But that's not what My Living Hell is about.

This is real life with MS and chronic illness. It's messy, unpredictable, frustrating, occasionally ridiculous, and sometimes so confusing that even I need subtitles for my own thoughts.

There are no carefully rehearsed speeches, no artificial polish, and no pretending that everything is wonderful when it plainly isn't.

It's just me, Warlock Dark, attempting to get a few thoughts out of my head before the brain fog swallows them whole.

And if that means the podcast wanders off down several strange little rabbit holes, gets lost, has a technical meltdown and then forgets why it went in there in the first place, so be it!

Welcome to my world.

Real Life. Real MS. No Bloody Script.

Living with multiple sclerosis isn't always inspirational music and motivational quotes against a sunset. Sometimes it's exhaustion, confusion, sleepless nights, technical problems and wondering whether you've just spent ten minutes talking complete rubbish.

Sometimes you laugh because the alternative is screaming into a cushion.

And sometimes you do both.

So, is Podcast 7 a failure? You can decide for yourself. I can promise you one thing: it's genuine, it's personal, and it's absolutely not been manufactured to make life with chronic illness look pretty.

If you enjoy honest conversations about MS, disability, brain fog, chronic illness and the absurdities of everyday life, come and join me for another ramble from My Living Hell.

Bring a sense of humour. You might need it.

And if you work out what the bloody hell I was talking about all the way through, please send me a written report. Preferably in large print.

My Living Hell β€” because life is complicated enough without your brain adding its own bloody plot twists. My Living Hell β€” because life is complicated enough without your brain adding its own bloody plot twists.
